Fran's Office
These pictures were taken on the morning of 22 March, just before I set up the oak computer desk that stretches under the window from wall to wall. Intended as a breakfast nook, Fran and I did have breakfast here a few days before — our once and only time.

Our Big Move: First Look

After living nearly 34 years in this 1926 duplex, we decided it was time to "move" into newer digs. The renovation process, now into Week Six and counting, meant boxing everything up and moving the dozens of boxes and furniture from one room to another ahead of the painters, who finished on 16 March 2007.
We're still unpacking, airing out cupboards, rehanging lights and drapes and shelving. In another month, we should be fully "moved in."
